Protected Geographical Indication (PGI)

Is a distinctive sign used to identify a product as originating in the territory of a particular country, region or locality where its quality, reputation or other characteristic is linked to its geographical origin. Our figs are produced in Markopoulo Mesogaias which is located in the greater area of Athens, the capital of Greece and are certified under the name 'Syka Vravronas Markopoulou Mesogeion P.G.I.'

Organic Figs

The term ‘‘organic’’ refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. Put simply, organic farming is an agricultural system that seeks to provide you, the consumer, with fresh, tasty and authentic food while respecting natural life-cycle systems. Our organic figs are cultivated according to EU requirements, a strict control system with checks carried out at every stage of the organic chain.

GlobalG.A.P.

For consumers and distributors, the GlobalG.A.P. certificate is a guarantee that food meets established standards of quality and safety and has been prepared following sustainability criteria, complying with the safety, health and welfare standards of workers and environment.

ISO 22000

ISO 22000 food safety management system is an international standard which specifies the requirements for a food safety management system. It involves interactive communication, system management, prerequisite programs and HACCP principles.
